In this video, United Nations Population Fund, Humanitarian Aid Program, Regional Manager Duygu Arığ explains how Women and Girls Safe Spaces provide primary health care and psycho-social services to the Syrian women and girls who are under temporary protection here in Turkey. The Women and Girls Center in Fındıkzade, İstanbul is funded by European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), and run by the implementing partner the Association for Solidarity with Asylum Seekers and Migrants (SGDD-ASAM). In the video, Syrian women beneficiaries also share their experiences regarding how they benefited from the services and from the Arabic speaking staff working at the center.
